SITE DIRECTIONS

NEWPORT NEWS FIRE DEPT. TRAINING BUREAU, 17300 Warwick Boulevard, Newport News, Va. 2360375; 7-969-1800

FROM   NORTH: 

  • Take I-64 East – going towards Hampton/Norfolk

  • Take Exit 250-A (first exit) going towards Ft. Eustis.

  • As you cross the reservoir, take the first exit to the right (Rt.60).

  • Go to the 2nd stop light (Curtis Road) and turn right.

  • Fire Station #5/Training Bureau are in the red brick building on the right.

  • Parking in the back.

FROM   SOUTH:

  • Take I-64 West – going towards Williamsburg/Richmond

  • Take Exit 250-A (2nd exit) going towards Ft. Eustis.

  • As you cross the reservoir, take the first exit to the right (Rt.60).

  • Go to the 2nd stop light (Curtis Road) and turn right.

  • Fire Station #5/Training Bureau are in the red brick building on the right.

  • Parking in the back.

Essex High School, Tappahannock, VA – From Route 17 North, approximately ¾ mile North of downtown Tappahannock, turn onto Airport Rd (route 627) @ light; Essex High School is on right 1 mile from Route 17.

Page Middle School, Gloucester

  • Travel on Rt 17 north across the George B Coleman Bridge.  Go approximately 7 miles.  Page Middle School is located at 5628 George Washington Memorial Highway (Rt. 17) on the left. 

  • Traveling on Rt 17 South, Page Middle School will be on your right about 4 miles past Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. 

  • Traveling RT 14 from Mathews turn Left on Business 17 at light in Gloucester.  Take a left on RT 17 South at light in front of the Super Wal Mart Center.  Page Middle School will be about 3 miles on your right.

Rappahannock Community College, Glenns (12745 College Drive, Glenns, VA 23149)

      From the Coleman Bridge

  • Travel on Rt 17 north across the George B Coleman Bridge.  Go approximately 25 miles. 

  • Turn LEFT onto VA-198 / VA-33. Continue to follow VA-33 W. Go approximately 0.7 miles.

  • Turn RIGHT onto COLLEGE DR / VA-374.

      From the Tappahannock, VA

  • Travel on Rt 17 south.  Go approximately 32 miles. 

  • Turn Right onto VA-198 / VA-33. Continue to follow VA-33 W. Go approximately 0.7 miles.

  • Turn RIGHT onto COLLEGE DR / VA-374.
