John Cooke introduced the new Performance Improvement Specialist Jeff Meyer.

 Review of previous minutes

Protocol revisions:

Spinal Immobilization

Dr. Link suggested the spinal protocol be finalized and once approved a CD/DVD disk should be made teaching how the protocol should be utilized.  This protocol applies to all pts. with mechanism of injury that suggests potential for spine injury.  Need to add the ACEP spinal clearance chart.

ALS Anaphylaxis

Changed 1:1000 epi to IM or SQ, change #5 to strike Consider.

ALS Respiratory Distress

Change Asthma/COPD #3 Consider to Administer.

Dr. Link stated she wants to add additional protocols for Asthma, COPD, and CHF
